Welcome to The Lindens
The Lindens is a Steiner Waldorf Early Years setting for children between the age of 2 1/2 and 6 years. In our two kindergarten groups, we nurture a caring atmosphere with a focus on learning through play, in a location at the heart of a friendly community.
We are located on Lower Street within walking distance of Stroud's town centre, in a Georgian home in an urban conservation area that has been a part of the Steiner Waldorf Early Years community for 35 years.
We also have a beautiful garden that the children spend time in every day. Here they can move freely and explore the outdoor world. There is a vegetable patch, a straw bale play house, a sand pit, and a mud kitchen.

We also offer Parent and Child groups to support young families with children between the age of 0 and 3 years. These sessions are held on Thursday and Friday mornings and afternoons, and follow a similar rhythm to the kindergarten morning where the young children will experience; outdoor play, activity, free play, snack time and a short story.
